In certain work place environments it is important that you're able to control who is able to gain access to certain areas. Security shutters are often necessary for businesses that are likely to have high value goods on their premises, as they're more likely to be burgled than other businesses.

Alarm systems are also an excellent way to maintain a high level of work place security. Burglar alarms can be installed to alert you and the police to the presence of an intruder. Also, alarms that can be discretely activated by staff in an emergency are incredibly useful in banks and other locations that might be at risk of a robbery.
